This short booklet gives an account of the McConnell family, George McConnell Sr, was an emigrant from Ireland to America. This account shows Sheriff George McConnell Sr. and his wife Susan Snavely. He was a weaver by trade, they had ten children, and they located from Penna to Virginia. In Scott County, VA he was High Sheriff when Judge Estill was on the bench.
