Descendants of John and Lucy Rockwell Mears of Windsor, Connecticut. Their ancestor Robert Meares, born in England 1592, and married Elizabeth Johnson in England, journeyed to America and died at Boston, Massachusetts in 1667. They had children born in England and Boston.
