This short book provides the history and some brief genealogy of the William Meriam family in England and New England, along with their connections with families by marriage. In the small village of Hadlow, in Kent County, there lived, died and in September 1635, was buried William Meriam. He was a clothier by trade and was wealthy.  His wife was Sara and he had five daughters and three sons. The Meriams in America are descended from him.  1888
