These are the descendants of Rev. John Moffat (1703-1788) of Ulster County, New York. He was a Presbyterian minister born in 1703, who arrived in America and settled in Ulster County, NY, part of which became Orange County. This book includes a "Map of the Highland Precinct" (1743–1788) and detailed sections on the "Blaggs Clove" branch of the family.
