Written in 1900 by his grandson, Newton Chambers Steele, M.D. has generations of Steele family genealogy, including the Steele family members that fought in The American Revolutionary War and the Steele Soldiers of the Civil War. It includes my granddaddy, Ernest Clyde Steele Sr., whom was born on September 3, 1888. I have shared multiple copies to my cousins and their children and donated a couple of issues to local museums for others that want to explore our Steele family history.
