HALLOWELL: Extracted from Early Friends Families of Upper Bucks 1925
By Clarence V. Roberts
Extracted from Early Friends Families of Upper Bucks, 1925, this is a record of the Hallowell name, the branch of the John and Mary Hallowell family, of Upper Bucks County, Penna. They were Quakers hailing from Nottinghamshire, England in the year 1682, settling first at Darby, Penna then to a tract of 630 acres in Abington, Penna., which is west of Willow Grove. This is where many descendants made their home. From the monthly meeting of Friends (Quakers) are records of marriages, deaths and the grave yard adjoining the meeting-house. Softcover.
