The name of Harden is associated with many of the early settlers in America since the 1600s. In the 1700s the name could be found in most of the original thirteen states, but were particularly heavy in Pennsylvania, Virginia and South CArolina. The focus of this book covers mainly those who came in the later 1700s from England , settling in Bedford County, Penna., and then to Ohio. Typescript.
