LIFE AT DAWN. A Young boy's war efforts from dawn to dusk. (Softcover)
Talbot A. Love. iii+53p. (2004).
Excerpt from the Introduction:
"It seems that I was not able to forget the years of World War II with memories and thoughts of the terrible events. Writing this booklet about my experiences as a young boy, during the worst period of the war years, has relieved my mind and dreams about our past lives from dawn to dusk. At times, I would be lost in thought and not be able to respond to anyone. My Uncles did not want to talk about the war, so they would shut out that period of their lives to everyone. Now, I feel I can talk about these incidents and not be haunted by the past. I do feel better after writing this family history. These episodes were all real and based on facts of our way of life in the war years." - Talbot A. Love
