This book is a genealogical record of the Mellick family, extracted from The Story of an Old Farm, or Life in New Jersey in the 18th Century. With a genealogical appendix of the Mellick family. Various spellings include Moelich, Malick, Melick and more. It gives an outline of the German ancestry and follows the descendants from five German emigrants Moelich, who all came from Bendorf on the Rhine. Johannes reached America in 1736 and settled on the "Old Farm" in Somerset County, NJ. His brother Gottfried came with him. Johan Peter came in 1728.
