A publication that provides the Matteson family genealogies, with the history of the descendants of Henry Matteson (1646-1690), who emigrated to America in 1666/7. He was settled in Rhode Island. He married Hannah Parsons and they had seven children between 1670 and 1685. Henry died in 1690 and Hannah was remarried (to Charles Hazelton). The name has various spellings that include Mattison, Madison, Mattason, Matterson, Matson, and more. Includes Andrews, Briggs, Hood, Joslin, Weaver, Whitford and related families.
