This is the Moncure family of Virginia, extracted from Virginia Genealogies : A genealogy of the Glassell Family of Scotland and Virginia... also of the Families of Ball, Brown, Bryan, Conway, Daniel, Ewell, Holladay, Lewis, Littlepages, Moncure, Peyton, Robinson, Scott, Taylor, Wallace and others, of Virginia and Maryland. It begins with the Reverend John Moncure, the first of the name known in Virginia. He was probably born in Scotland cir 1709-10. He died in VA in March, 1764. He married Frances Brown in 1741. They are buried in Aquia Chuch, Stafford County. Softcover
